The Pacific Northwest (as of 12.05.20)

Been roaming around the Pacific Northwest for a few weeks now, and thought I’d post a slice of what my wanderings have found me so far.  A solar eclipse, a hole in the ocean and more mossy lush forest than I know what to do with.  I have a feeling it might prove impossible to leave this place…
An ethereal experience, just 5 years til the next one! (at least in America…)

Memorial to my Mother

“The dawn is not distant, nor is the night starless; love is eternal” – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Happy birthday to my Mom, Dawn Shillady Suhrie (Dec. 27, 1954 – Dec. 11, 2011), may she rest in peace. Some of her friends and family have been asking to see some old pictures of her, so I thought this would be the easiest way to share.  It’s been a great comfort to go through these old photo albums, filled with smiles and family who loved her.  She was truly an angel, the sweetest and most altruistic soul I’ve ever known.  She seems to have had a wonderful and fulfilling life, and she’ll always be kept close at heart.
